Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM®) program—the first global certification in privacy program management. This two-day training provides guidance on implementing a privacy program framework, managing the privacy program operational lifecycle and structuring a knowledgeable, high-performing privacy team- regardless of jurisdiction or industry. The CIPM program was developed by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) in conjunction with globally recognized privacy experts. It is accredited by ANSI under ANSI/ISO 17024: 2012 and recognized worldwide through a multilateral agreement with the International Accreditation Forum (IAF).
This training is a robust, interactive opportunity to learn about critical privacy concepts that are also integral to the CIPM exam. It strengthens your knowledge and develops skills for establishing, maintaining and managing a comprehensive data protection program.

Cancellation
By Participant: If a subscribed course participant is replaced by another participant or if the public course is postponed to a later date, no cancellation costs apply. A participant or a group that fails to attend, or that cancels a course without at least 15 working days written notice prior to the course start, is liable for the full subscription cost.

Identifies privacy program management responsibilities and describes the role of accountability in privacy program management.
Module 2: Privacy governance
Examines considerations for developing and implementing a privacy program, including the position of the privacy function within the organization, role of the DPO, program scope and charter, privacy strategy, support and ongoing involvement of key functions and privacy frameworks.
Module 3: Applicable laws and regulations
Discusses the regulatory environment, common elements across jurisdictions and strategies for aligning compliance with organizational strategy.
Module 4: Data assessments
