Privacy and Security incidents

The General Data Protection Regulation has shifted the privacy compliance landscape considerably. Not only have existing requirements been updated and extended, new obligations further complicate the existing challenge. Any business, organisation, body, or public authority handling personal data inevitably falls within the scope of the GDPR and must be able to demonstrate its compliance.

The GDPR requires adequate measures to minimise the risk of having a ‘personal data breach’ and the notification of the latter to the supervisory authority. It defines a ‘personal data breach’ as a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of, or access to, personal data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed.

CTG’s “Privacy and Security Incidents” course provides its participants an explanatory training on all possible privacy and security incidents and attacks that can occur and how they can be prevented or mitigated.
