Microfocus ALM is a test management tool that covers the principal test activities of a test process. Microfocus ALM offers software quality assurance, including requirements management, test management and business process testing for IT and application environments.
This course covers the tasks that are performed by site administrators, project managers, and Quality Assurance (QA) leads to set up Quality Center (QC) projects before users can work with requirements, test cases, and defects. This hands-on course focuses on planning, creating, and customizing Microfocus ALM projects. It is an important course for people involved in creating projects, modifying existing fields, creating user defined fields, creating users, setting user permissions and defining basic workflow.
The goal of this course is to learn how to customise Microfocus ALM, so that its customization answers all the participant’s project needs.
This course is intended for Microfocus ALM administrators, Quality Center project managers, Quality Assurance leads and other Quality Center users responsible for managing projects, users and workflow customisations.
The participants should have at least a basic knowledge of Microfocus ALM.
Approximately 45% of the class is devoted to lab exercises.
Throughout the course, an experienced trainer and software testing expert provides lectures and gives exercises based on real world projects. Courses can be given in English, Dutch or French. Course material is in English.
The course duration is 2 days.
This course can be given at the client’s site or at CTG.

Cancellation
By Participant: If a subscribed course participant is replaced by another participant or if the public course is postponed to a later date, no cancellation costs apply. A participant or a group that fails to attend, or that cancels a course without at least 15 working days written notice prior to the course start, is liable for the full subscription cost.
By CTG: CTG reserves the right to cancel a course at any time.
