Continuous Delivery (CD) is an approach to software development that has emerged in recent years. It’s a set of practices and disciplines that enable teams to reach and maintain a high-speed, predictable, steady and safe stream of valuable software changes.
Continuous Integration (CI) is a vital part of Continuous Delivery. Good CI is a well-defined set of approaches and practices, with the common goal of continuously integrating code changes in order to find code conflicts as soon as possible. By doing CI we expect to find small conflicts when we merge code changes or when we try to integrate components, but because we are integrating continuously, these incompatibilities will be small and usually easier to correct.
This course gives the participants insight in common CI/CD best practices and approaches in the application life cycle, and shows why CI and CD have become that important to fast and reliable software delivery.
Anyone who wants to learn more about CI/CD.
Developers, Testers and test automators that want to play a role in CI/CD.
Everyone is free to take the course, however basic knowledge of the software development cycle is highly recommended.
Throughout the course, an experienced trainer and software testing expert provides lectures and gives exercises based on real world projects.
Courses can be given in English, Dutch or French. Course material is in English.
The course duration is 1 day.
This course can be given at the client’s site or at CTG.
